(1) The Department shall issue a service passport to the private assistant to the ambassador, permanent representative, special representative, consular general and employees of gazetted level and classless employee upon written request from the Ministry.
(2) The Department may issue a service passport to a Nepali citizen working as local employee in the mission upon written request from the Ministry or the mission.
